meet Christine
Christine Suddeth grew up on Long Beach Island, NJ, the home to seagulls that are just as unabashedly intrusive as New York City pigeons. Her earliest memories consist of performing living room musicals to her family as directed by her inspiring grandfather. After countless summers of swim team, she realized her tall 5’10" frame fit better on the stage than in the pool. Christine left South Jersey to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre, Minor in Psychology at Pace University (Pforzheimer Honors College), and graduated in May of 2021.
She is a proud voice nerd/ research author and has had the honor of seeing her work, “Students’ Experience with Vocal Injury in Undergraduate Performing Arts Training Programs,” published in the highly respected Journal of Voice. Christine is also a fierce advocate for others’ success and has found great fulfillment in working with Broadway Artists Alliance, where she coaches and mentors the next generation of performing artists. Outside of theatre, Christine enjoys hiking, running, snuggling up with a good book, spending the summertime at the beach, and trying out all the guacamole and margaritas the city has to offer. |
